Fier Prosecution Initiates Criminal Proceedings Against Father for Two Offenses Related to Sexual Intercourse with His Minor Daughter

Fier Prosecution Office has registered criminal proceedings No. 927, dated 01.07.2025, against Z.M. under investigation for committing the criminal offenses of “Sexual or homosexual relations with minors” and “Sexual or homosexual activity with consanguine persons and persons in the position of trust”, as stipulated in Articles 100, paragraph 2, and 106 of the Criminal Code. This action follows the report filed by the minor victim, P.M., at Fier Police Station.

From the investigations so far, the person under investigation, Z.M., reported at the Patos Police Station the leaving of his minor daughter, P.M., born in 2013, from their apartment.
The first investigative actions were immediately conducted, upon receiving this report, and it was made possible for the minor victim to be found in the apartment of citizen B.B. During the interview of the minor victim, it came out that the reason for her leave from the apartment was her father Z.M., under investigation, who, according to her, had started having sexual relations with her since she was 5 years old and on. Z.M. has admitted to having had sexual relations with his minor daughter only once.

Fier Prosecution Office, after the registration of the criminal proceedings and the initial investigative actions, on 01.07.2025, submitted a request to Fier District Court for the legal validation of the arrest in flagrante delicto and the imposition of the coercive personal security measure “Remand in Custody” against Z.M.

The District Court of Fier, by decision no. 62-205-3964, granted the Prosecution’s request, imposing the coercive personal security measure of 'Remand in Custody' on the person under investigation, Z.M.
