Memorandum of cooperation between the General Prosecutor and the High Inspector of Justice
Tirana, 05 February 2021, The General Prosecutor Olsian Çela and the High Inspector of Justice Artur Metani formalized today the inter-institutional cooperation in terms of thematic inspections and individual violations of magistrate prosecutors through the signing of a memorandum.
Çela and Metani stated that disciplinary proceedings should serve the accountability and responsibility of the magistrate prosecutors, in a balance amid the principles of public interest for the administration of justice, respect of human rights, principle of legality, fair and impartial trial, as well as that of separation of powers.
The General Prosecutor and the High Inspector of Justice emphasized the determination for the rigorous respect for the Constitution and the laws during the respective work of the two institutions.
