Signing of the Agreement of Cooperation between Prosecution Office of Albania and Bosnia – Hercegovina

General Prosecutor's Office of Albania and the General Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina are totally agree to cooperate together in the fight against international and transnational organized crime, economic crime and corruption, illegal use of criminal assets, international terrorism and crimes related with it, war crimes, crimes against humanity, genocide and values protected by international law.

To formalize the bilateral will the Prosecutor General of Albania, Mr. Adriatik Llalla, welcomed in Tirana on Monday (dt.12.10.2015) his counterpart from Bosnia – Hercegovina, Mr. Goran Salihoviç and between the two heads was signed the Cooperation Agreement.
The common document was signed in accordance with the principles of the European Conventions on Mutual Assistance in Criminal Matters of 1959, as well as its Additional Protocols.

Pursuant to the Agreement, both parties affirm the commitment in strengthening the current cooperation in accordance with the principles of International Law and current bilateral and multilateral Agreement between the Republic of Albania and Bosnia – Hercegovina.

At the official meeting, which preceded the signing of the Cooperation Agreement, Mr. Llalla and Mr. Salihoviç emphasized the need of a close cooperation between the two homologues institutions, as well as the necessity to strengthen the rule of law, on their way towards European integration.
