The Council of Ministers' recommendations for combatting crime in 2024 were introduced at the General Prosecutor's Office
At a meeting with the General Prosecutor, the head of the Special Prosecutor's Office, and all the heads of general jurisdictional prosecution offices accross the country, which took place today at the premises of the General Prosecutor's Office, Minister of Justice Mr. Ulsi Manja presented the Council of Ministers' recommendations for combating crime for the year 2024.
The recommendations focused on areas such as strengthening the fight against corruption and organized crime, increasing the independence of prosecutors, further encouraging cooperation between institutions, and ensuring the protection of human rights.
General Prosecutor Mr. Olsian Çela underscored the critical importance of these recommendations in fostering institutional coordination and cooperation in the fight against crime, emphasizing a steadfast commitment to prioritize their implementation through all available human, technical, and financial resources.
