The Prosecutor General, Olsian Çela held a meeting today with the Director General of the State Police, Muhamet Rrumbullaku.

The focus of the meeting was the strengthening of coordination and cooperation between the prosecution offices of the general jurisdiction and the structures of the State Police.

The two leaders of the institutions positively assessed the level of institutional interaction in the investigation phase so far, while concrete steps will be taken to increase the professional capacities of the investigation structures.

In this context, the possibilities for the coordination of measures that will increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the investigation for a number of criminal offenses are being examined.

In the meeting, it was agreed on the importance of harmonizing priorities in the function of good administration and efficient use of human and technical resources, aiming to increase the impact of the striking force of law enforcement bodies against criminal phenomena that harm public order and security.
