Two Young Men Arrested for Drug Distribution in New Tirana, Kombinat, and Selita Following Tirana Prosecutor’s Investigation; Drugs Seized
Tirana Prosecution arrested two 27-year-old youngsters after several months of investigation for distributing narcotics in doses in several areas of the capital, namely Tiranë e Re, Kombinat, and Selita.
Through proactive investigative methods and in cooperation with the Narcotics Investigation Section of the State Police, the suspects B.A. and R.S., both residents of Tirana, were apprehended while traveling by vehicle along the “Ura e Beshirit – Pezë” road.
A total of 1.234 kilograms of cocaine were seized, during physical searches of the vehicle and residences. The narcotics are suspected to have been intended for distribution in doses within the aforementioned areas.
In addition to the narcotics, authorities seized the vehicle used by the suspects as well as two mobile phones.
Investigations are ongoing to identify and bring to justice all citizens involved in this criminal network.
