Berat Prosecution Seeks 6-Year Sentence for Repeat Pedophile Who Attempted to Abduct Minor by Force
Berat Prosecution Office seeks a six-year prison sentence for citizen R.O. on the charge of 'Sexual Harassment', as stipulated in Article 108/a/2 of the Criminal Code.
On November 25, 2024, this person harassed the minor A.Gj., who filed a criminal complaint. Despite the minor’s refusal, the defendant pulled and scratched his hand, and the situation changed only when the minor’s father arrived at the scene following a phone call from his son.
The forensic medical report confirmed that the minor sustained injuries caused by a sharp object. The boy testified that he immediately alerted his father after noticing a man following and attempting to abduct him by force.
The defendant who committed this criminal act used degrading language that was inappropriate for the minor's developmental age to understand that the person was attempting to coerce him into intimate relations against his will.
In conclusion, after a thorough investigation and analysis of all relevant facts and evidence, it has been substantiated beyond a reasonable doubt that the defendant, R.O., through direct and active actions, committed the crime of sexual harassment against the minor.
A guilty verdict for the person, R.O., for committing the crime of "Sexual Harassment" as stipulated in article 108/a/2 of the Criminal Code, and a sentence of 6 (six) years in prison.
