Blackmailing through 'Instagram' that they would publish their intimate relationship, 3 in handcuffs
The Prosecutor's Office Attached at the Court of First Instance, Elbasan registered the criminal proceeding no.1442 dated 11.10.2022 for the criminal offense of "Coercion by means of threats or violence to give property", provided by Articles 109/b of the Criminal Code based on the report of the citizen E.K.
This citizen was blackmailed through the Instagram platform to make his public intimate relationship. The authors demanded 3,000 euros not to make the intimate relationship public.
On the part of the prosecution body, authorization was given to perform the simulation action of handing over the money.
On 11.10.2022 at about 10:45 at “Rita Park” the meeting between the victim E. K., and H.P took place, where the victim handed over 3000 euros to the citizen H.P. This person came with his Taxi vehicle with license plates EL 6...A. This action has also been documented with service reports from the Operational Section of DVP Elbasan.
On the part of the prosecutor of the case, the telephone number and the other numbers which resulted in the dynamics have been placed under interception.
After the delivery, the taxi left for Tirana, followed by the police forces, and after spotting the police, changed the route. After that, the judicial police arrested the citizens H.P., S.H. and Xh.Gj, and the citizen under investigation A.H was prosecuted at large.
The investigation for this criminal proceeding was followed in cooperation with the judicial police services in DVP Elbasan.
