Fier Prosecutor's Office seizes over 3 million euros of assets suspected to be derived from criminal activity
The Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of Fier General Jurisdiction, based on law 10192, dated 03.12.2009 "On preventing and combating organized crime, trafficking and corruption through preventive measures against wealth", as amended, seized real estate and bank account of the suspected citizen L.B., and his family members, convicted for committing criminal offences of "Participation in a criminal organization" and "Trafficking in narcotics" in Greece.
From the comprehensive property investigation of the prosecutor's office in cooperation with the judicial police services of the Fier Local Police Directorate, Economic and Financial Crime Section, it is suspected that the following assets, in the possession of the suspect L.B. and his family members, originate from the continuous criminal activity of the citizen L.B. The seized assets are:
1. 5 (five) assets of the "service unit" type, with an area of 722 m², 486.7 m², 180.5 m², 57 m², 77.31 m² located in "1-Maji" neighborhood in Fier.
2. Apartment type property with an area of 63.6 m², located in Fier.
3. 2 (two) apartment-type properties with an area of. 63.4m² and 139.6m², as well as a garage-type asset located in "Uji i Ftohtë", Vlorë.
4. Loft-type property, with a total area of 221.8m², located in Selitë, Tirana
5. Property of the type "service unit", with an area of 197 m², located in Selitë, Tirana.
6. Apartment type property, with a total area of 197.4m², located Selitë, Tirana.
7. 5 (five) movable properties of the vehicle and motor vehicle type registered with the Fier Regional Directorate of Road Transport Service.
8. Property of the type "commercial unit", related to the commercial activity "Bar-Cafe", Fier, exercised by the physical person LB
9. 2 (two) bank accounts with a balance of ALL 212,341.46 and Euros 22,628.7.
The Court of First Instance of Fier General Jurisdiction with the decision no. 1275 dated 09.10.2023 decided the seizure of the above-mentioned assets amounting to 3,000,000 euros.
The Fier Prosecutor's Office is pursuing with priority and is fully committed to the identification, seizure and confiscation of assets derived from criminal activity, in accordance with Law 10192, dated 03.12.2009, amended.
