Fire eruption at “Metropol Shoping Center”; Fier Prosecution Office files the criminal proceeding for the offense “Destruction of property by fire”
The Prosecution Office at Fier First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction informs the public that has filed the criminal proceeding under case No. 1846/2023 in response to the recent fire incident at the 'Metropol Shoping Center' in 'Çlirimi' neighborhood of Lushnjë regarding the criminal offence “Destruction of property by fire,' as stipulated in Article 151 of the Criminal Code.
The prosecutor on duty has immediately gone to the crime scene where the initial investigative actions were promptly undertaken."
"An expert investigative team, comprising professionals from diverse fields and a unit of judicial police officers under the prosecutor's guidance, has been established. The investigations are being conducted in close cooperation with the judicial police services of the State Police. The root cause of the fire and its initial point of ignition will be discerned through a comprehensive application of procedural and expert protocols."
