Forgery and abuse of office, Fier Prosecution Office imposes security measures on five police employees

 

Fier Prosecution Office has filed the criminal case No. 363/2023 regarding the criminal offences "Abuse of office" and "Passive corruption by persons that exercise public functions," as stipulated in articles 248 and 259, paragraph 1, of the Criminal Code. This case has been filed based on the information of the Police Supervision Agency, Regional Directorate Fier-Berat.

Following the completion of investigative procedures pertaining to the nature of this case, Fier Prosecution Office has requested the imposition of personal security measures against individuals currently under investigation: E.M, D.V, E.B, V.Th, and F.H. This request is grounded on a reasonable suspicion that these individuals, serving as employees within the Interurban and Urban Traffic Section at Fier Local Police Directorate have undertaken actions against law pertaining to administrative offences that different citizens have carried out by adapting them to the demands of the wrongdoers.

Fier District Court, through decision No. 62-2024-1035, dated January 31, 2024, has decided to accept the prosecution's request and has determined the imposition of the security measures against thr police employees, as detailed below:

The imposition against the citizen E.H, of the security measures "Prohibition to expatriate" and " Suspension from carrying out a public duty or service," as provided for in articles 233 and 242 of the Criminal Procedure Code. He is suspected of committing the criminal offense of "Abuse of office," as provided for in article 248 of the Criminal Code.

The imposition against the citizen D.V, of the security measures "Prohibition to expatriate" and " Suspension from carrying out a public duty or service," as provided for in articles 233 and 242 of the Criminal Procedure Code. He is suspected of committing the criminal offense of "Abuse of office," as provided for in article 248 of the Criminal Code.
The imposition against the citizen E.B, of the security measures "Prohibition to expatriate" and " Suspension from carrying out a public duty or service," as provided for in articles 233 and 242 of the Criminal Procedure Code. He is suspected of committing the criminal offense of "Abuse of office," as provided for in article 248 of the Criminal Code.

The imposition against the citizen V.Th, of the security measures "Prohibition to expatriate" and " Suspension from carrying out a public duty or service," as provided for in articles 233 and 242 of the Criminal Procedure Code. He is suspected of committing the criminal offense of "Abuse of office," as provided for in article 248 of the Criminal Code.

The imposition against the citizen F.H, of the security measures "Prohibition to expatriate" and " Suspension from carrying out a public duty or service," as provided for in articles 233 and 242 of the Criminal Procedure Code. He is suspected of committing the criminal offense of "Abuse of office," as provided for in article 248 of the Criminal Code.

Regarding this case Fier Prosecution Office is actively conducting dynamic investigations to uncover the involvement of other individuals in this illicit activity.
