General Prosecutor's Office requires, by the Parliament, the authorization to arrest the deputy Armando Prenga

General Prosecutor's Office requires, by the Parliament, the authorization to arrest the citizen Armando Prenga, with the function of “Deputy”, suspected of committing the offenses; “Illegal manufacturing and keeping military weapons and ammunition”, “Serious intentional injury” and “Threat”, provided by Articles 278/4, 88, 84 and 25 of the Criminal Code.

At the request addressed to Parliament, the General Prosecutor, Mr. Adriatik Llalla, said that, from the evidence at this stage of investigation, turns out that the deputy Prenga is suspected of committing the offenses cited above during a conflict with some other citizens, occurred at midnight between the date 09/04.2015 - 05.09.2015, in Laç.

Also, at the authorization request for arrest, is noted that the MP Armando Prenga is suspected of committing offenses with high social risk and are provided as a crime in the Criminal Code.
Based on current investigative actions, General Prosecutor's Office has reasonable suspicions of committing offenses by the deputy Prenga, based on the following arguments:

- Keeping and using of military weapons type pistol, different from the one which he has permission from the competent authorities, during the conflict in public area at the Police Station Laç, the deputy Armand Prenga committed the offense “Illegal possession of military weapons” provided by Article 278/4 of the Criminal Code.
- Damaging with gun the citizen’s health T.C, shooting over him, the deputy Armando Prenga committed the offense “Serious intentional injury”, provided by the Article 88 of Criminal Code.

- Using of weapon toward the citizens who went with the citizen Gj.C. at the Police Station Kurbin, in collaboration with some other citizens, the deputy Armand Prenga committed the offense “Threat”, in collaboration, provided by Article 84 and 25 of Criminal Code. 

For this reason, in order to make way for a thorough and versatile investigation by the Prosecution Office, pursuant to Article 73/2 of the Constitution of the Republic of Albania, as well as Article 288 of the Criminal Procedure Code, is required by the Parliament the authorization to arrest the MP Armando Prenga.
