Information regarding the self-declaring subject Rezart Tusha
In the General Prosecutor's Office, based on the request received from the Central Election Commission, an in-depth verification process for the self-declaring subject, Rezart Xhelal Tusha, was registered with no. 49, year 2021, based on Law no. 238/2015 "On guaranteeing the integrity of persons who are elected, appointed or exercise public functions".
In the framework of the verifications carried out, it turns out that the Swiss judicial authorities, through the Ministry of Justice, have refused to respond to the request of the General Prosecutor's Office for the provision of mutual legal assistance, because the information was not requested in the framework of a criminal process against the subject in question.
Following the above, aiming to use all possible legal means for the administration of information that serves this process, the Decriminalization Sector has continued to carry out other actions for the full verification of the self-declaring subject. Upon their completion, the results of the verifications will be sent to the CEC.
