In the framework of the implementation of law no. 10192, dated 03.12.2009 "On preventing and combating organized crime, trafficking and corruption, through preventive measures against wealth", as amended and aiming to attack illegal assets or assets that are owned/ are possessed by entities within the scope of this law, the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction Elbasan, concluded with the seizure of some immovable and movable assets.

After the investigative actions carried out for the property proceeding no. 15/2020, on the basis of the request of the Prosecutor’s Office of the First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Elbasan, with the decision no. 90, dated 03.02.2024 of the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Elbasan, it was decided to confiscate the assets stemming from criminal activity:

-    Property of the type "Apartment" with an area of 112m2, in Elbasan, owned by the citizen F.A.

From the property investigation, it turned out that this wealth is not justified by legal income, but has its origin from the criminal activity of the citizen A.S., convicted by Italian justice for trafficking and exploitation of prostitution.

After the investigative actions carried out for Property Proceeding no. 22/2020, on the basis of the request of the Prosecutor’s Office of the First Instance of the General Jurisdiction Elbasan, with the decision no. 89, dated 03.02.2024 of the Court of First Instance of Elbasan General Jurisdiction, it was also decided to seize the assets stemming from criminal activity:

-    Property of the type "Unit” with an area of 79m2, in Elbasan, owned by the citizen E.G.;

The property investigation has shown that this wealth is not justified by legal income, but originates from the criminal activity of the citizen E.G., convicted by Italian justice for trafficking narcotics from Belgium to Italy.

The Agency for the Administration of Seized and Confiscated Assets ,Tirana, ASHK Elbasan Local Directorate and Elbasan Local Police Directorate were charged with the execution of the decisions.
The Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of Elbasan General Jurisdiction remains committed to the identification, sequestration and confiscation of any property that originates from illegal activity according to the provisions of the "Antimafia" law.
