Tirana Prosecution Office demands “Remand in custody” for the citizen M.D. as to the criminal offence “Maltreatment of minors”
The Prosecution Office at Tirana General Jurisdiction Court demanded the security measure "Remand in custody " as provided for in Article 238 of the Criminal Procedure Code regarding the citizen under investigation, M. D., for the criminal offense "Maltreatment of minors," as stipulated in Article 124/b/1 of the criminal Code.
Following the reception today, on 09.11.2023, of the minutes documenting the scrutiny of film footage (USB) kept on 08.11.2023, immediate action was taken. The Forensic Institute has transmitted to the Prosecution Office, the forensic medical examination report via letter No. 9538/1 prot., dated 08.11.2023, that is registered with prot. No. 10983, dated 09.11.2023.
The Prosecution Office at Tirana General Jurisdiction Court is conducting further procedural actions to document the fact within the criminal proceeding No. 7527, being registered after the complaint based on the materials referred by Tirana Police Directorate, Police Commissariat No.1, concerning the Criminal Offense of "Maltreatment of Minors," as provided for in Article 124/b of the Criminal Code.
