Tirana Prosecution Office has initiated investigations into the criminal offense of 'Domestic Violence' based on the complaint made by citizen L.Z., ongoing verifications are also being conducted concerning the dissemination of the video as material evide
On March 6, 2024, at 15:00, the Police Commissariat No.1. has submitted to Tirana Prosecution Office the material reported by citizen L.Z. regarding the criminal offense of "Domestic Violence," as provided for in Article 130/a of the Criminal Code.
Tirana Prosecution Office has recorded the criminal complaint No.2893 regarding the Criminal Offense as stipulated in Article 130/4 of the Criminal Code.
The material has been assigned by lot to the relevant prosecutor.
Meanwhile, regarding the information published in the media, we inform you that the Prosecution has initiated verifications also related to the dissemination of a video, as material evidence.
Following the preliminary verifications, it has been found that the reported material has been submitted to Tirana Prosecution Office, after the video has been published in various media, and it comes out that the envelope containing the administered evidence has not been opened.
The Police Oversight Agency has been assigned to carry out the necessary investigative actions regarding the current case.
