Tirana Prosecution Office has registered two criminal proceedings, no. 420 in 2023 and no. 7470 in 2022 regarding the criminal offense 283 "Production and sale of narcotics" committed in complicity.
Finally, after several months of special investigation methods, it was possible to verify and prove the criminal activity of the two groups consisting of 24 people for whom was sought “Remand in custody” as security measure. 

Out of the investigations which started in January of this year, it turns out that all the accomplices were acting in several divided groups and were distributing narcotics in the area of Tirana and Kamza, mainly among young people

The distribution was carried out in the nightclubs and in the premises that are most frequented by young people and near a high school in Tirana.

The criminal proceedings have been increased, in cooperation with the Police Directorate and with proactive methods, thus making it possible to document a series of criminal proceedings.

The proactive investigations, as well as the use of special investigation methods in order to prevent and combat organized forms of criminal activity and worrying phenomena such as the distribution of narcotics in the surroundings of young people and educational institutions are the focus of Tirana Prosecution Office.
